Michigan Avenue in 1908

This is a view of what is today Michigan Avenue in 1908.  This road was originally part of the Sauk Trail.  It was a trail used by the Plains Indians and it was turned into the Detroit-Chicago Road in the early 1800s to encourage western Settlement.
